Business acquisitions
I buy good businesses from good people who built them.
If you're thinking about what comes next for your business, I'd like to be the first call you make.
Acquisition criteria
What I look for
I'm not a fund. I'm not a roll-up. I'm a person who buys businesses I believe in and runs them with care. Every conversation is handled privately. Here's what that means in practice.
Revenue
$500K plus annual revenue
Industries
Service businesses, trades, professional services, niche B2B — open to most industries.
Owner involvement
Managed / Owner-operated businesses where the owner is ready to transition out over time to maintain passing on their legacy.
Deal structure
Clean, straightforward deals — Upfront honesty in order not to waste anyones time
Location
Australia-based businesses preferred, open to discussion
What I'm not
Not a private equity firm. Not a broker. Not a roll up. Just a buyer who means what he says.
I'm not looking for a deal. I'm looking for a long term business worth taking care of.

About Brendan
A buyer who respects what you've built.
I'm Brendan Doman — an Australian entrepreneur and business buyer based in Brisbane. I've spent the better part of my career working inside small and medium businesses, learning how they actually run: the people, the systems, the customer relationships that take years to earn and minutes to lose.
I started acquiring businesses because I believe there's a better way for owners to exit. Not through a broker auction, not to a private equity firm that will restructure everything you built — but to someone who genuinely wants to carry your business forward and treat it with the same care you did.
I'm patient, and I don't like to waste people's time. If there's a fit, I'll tell you quickly. If there isn't, I'll tell you that too. Every conversation is private and without obligation.
Outside of business, I'm a husband and father — which is part of why legacy matters to me. The businesses I buy aren't just assets. They're livelihoods, communities, and something worth protecting.
If you've built something you're proud of, I'd love to hear about it.
No pressure. No brokers. Just a straightforward conversation about your business and what comes next.
